A social network for Tundra owners
I have the Stainless Toyota Exhaust Finisher but what way does it install?
We have 3 parts:
1) The Big Tip (OOOOHHH SHINY!)
2) Big Adjustable clamp
3) Semi Circle Shim
What is the proper configuration for these? Does the shim go opposite the protruding lip or into the protruding lip? Does the lip go top bottom or side?
I got this one from my father when he replaced his stock exhaust with a After Market one so I didn’t get to see the original config.

I figured it out:
SURVEY SAYS........ The shim goes into the outer lip making a semicircle. Clamp goes over that which, DUH, is also Semicircle shaped. Tighten nut on clamp until snug,
If tail pipe collapses loosen nut, take tip off and go buy you what you really wanted to begin with, a Cat Back System.
