Check Engine Light

It was time to take the Tundra to the dealer for an oil change and the check engine light came on. Once at the dealer, I requested an oil change and told the service writer the check engine light came on. The service tech checked it out and advised me that the cat converter had gone bad. Was wondering if anyone else has had this experience?

Lund makes one...search for "deflecta shield 491" on Google and you'll find a few options...I saw one for $27.
