I get flashing VSC lights once in awhile and I clean the plug, it usually goes away.  Never had to take it in to reset anything, thank goodness.

Damn Near Stuck

Last night I went out after work and hit downtown San Rafael. My friend saved me a spot on the street....couldn't fit though. I went around the block and decided to try a bank parking lot. No spots in there. The bad part: I couldn't get back out because of the curbs by the access gate and those lovely yellow poles. I ended up getting wedged and when I tried to back up and try again I was a mere 2 inches from losing my driver side panel for the bed. Their poles and key code box would have been… Continue

For the record......its just about $50k i put into the truck!  If you need me to price it out for you...here goes!  $36.5 for the rig itself, add some tire and wheels $2400, lift kit and labor $5k, audio garb $2k, intake and exhaust $1500, etc.  Dont be a hater bro......im not really trying to sell it but if the price were right, Id take it.  Besides....i get too many rubberneckers lookin at my truck, especially around here on Long Island where there arent that many good lookin rigs like mine.

HA! It's all good.....I can think of worse things, at least it's not a Tyson face tattoo! I could've went the Sheen route and got "tiger blood".....but then I'd hate me too. The things we do for our trucks....I draw the line at streaking with body paint logo's.

Thanks.......Im definitely NOT a typical NYer as well.  I spent half may life in SoCal so that probably expalins my love for lifted trucks, motox, surfing, etc.  I will say however that it makes for an interesting ride EVERY day I take the truck out.  The looks I get make it all worth the additional $10k I dumped into this thing already.  Not done yet......I'll share as updates to the truck are done.

He's been deleted now. Have to wonder what he was trying to prove being dick to everyone. Some people have no class, mind you I don't have much, but more than that.

So I got the LED 3rd brake light in.....what a bitch. Have to take off the entire rear & side trims to let down the head liner in order to reach the inside nuts holding the OE down, but it's the entire enclosure that's replaced & not just a part of it. Lucky I had extra nuts to fit the new one in my stash, OE nuts are too small to fit the new threaded studs on the LED. Got my door sill gaurds to put on this weekend, also trying to wrangle a swap deal with another local that's got the black work truck bumpers & grille. Get this, Toyo dealer wants $200 for the black plastic base grill, 190 black w/chrome surround (SR5), and 150 for all black painted gloss like rock warrior & limited's. Can't figure that out, but they double checked it, would think the chrome was most expensive or the paint, not base model. Bumper swap too may be a challenge since it's a one piece urethane cover & ours are two piece chrome w/upper plastic. Heard that the one piece has separate mounts for the fog lights, all up in the air right now. 1-2 more week wait on my replacement parts from RBP, been since end of March waiting. Passed the point of pissed a while ago, but can't do much about it but wait. Hope you're out enjoying the weekend, weather's finally settled here, tired of sirens going off.

Glad to hear you're getting out for some playtime. What brand & shop did you buy replacement lights through? I've been debating on LED dome kits, door & floor lights, one more detail to nail down. Seen alot of people like the Putco LED kits, but they seem over priced for just dome/map lights. Any info on yours would help out, I haven't even got into checking what the OEM part numbers are for all our lights. Take care :)
