Profile Information

Your Truck:
2008 Tundra 5.7 TRD
Hometown:
Arnold Callifornia
About Me:
Bought 2007 Tundra crew max 4.7 to save gas in 2006. I had a Flowmaster exhaust installed to gain some more hp. out of a small engine, I got tired of not having ample power in the now bigger tundra and traded it in for a 2008 5.7 TRD . Not only did I get more power, and better trans., but I got better gas millage. Even though I took a loss on the 1 year old 2007 it was worth it.
Current modifications to your Tundra:
2008 Tundra 5.7 TRD with an after market back-up camera,
3" TOYTEC lift with 1.5" in the rear, and Truck Champ side bars.
Flowmaster 50 series duel exhaust.
Blue LED swap.
Planned future mods:
Rims, 34"-35" tires, cold air intake, ram-air hood, and a supercharger.
I would like to recommend the following to everyone:
Truck Champ side bars..$239.99 (no shipping or tax change)
TOYTEC lift..solid aluminum spacers.Flowmaster 50 series duel exhaust.

Shannon, your truck and mine are brother and sister. Mine is a limited but my mods are pretty simple. I installed Line X liner, Undercover Tonneu, and K and N Filter...pretty much it on mine but on a straight flat road with no wind I get up to 22 mpg. Not bad for a truck that big. 75 mph on flat road it is down around 19 but still respectable. I am in love with this truck...always owned Fords before.

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe in a few years when I'm ready for it Toyota will have made some improvements on the design.
