Thanks for the reply Vit.
I ought to crawl under there with the tools, eyeball and experiment. I have been known to be wrong in the past, maybe we were not doing something just right. Trial and error.
Thanks again.
Hi Brandon,
I have a 2007 Tundra that came factory equipped with the same tires as yours.
They lasted just over 21,000 miles, before getting into the wear bars. Mine were 255/18s too.
I went with a set of Big-O Big Foot ATs in LT275/65/18. They were…
Hi TXTee,
Well, ok. You got me. I don't know what to say. I am 51 years old, and still have visions of women in department stores, doing damage. I have learned from my wife of ten years a whole new vocabulary.... power shopping, doing…
TXTee,
Thanks for all your help and answering my notes.
I guess probably the next thing I do to my truck will be to change over to synthetic motor oil.
If my rich uncle gets out of the poor house, then I do some other things, nice wheels, fender…
I'm not worried about anything. The only thing about my '07 Tundra that I don't like is the noisy 5.7.
Got a recall notice for the floormats, read it, and then ran it through file 13.
The idiot media is just going to keep stirring the…
Hi Jeremy,

Hi Mike,
I have the same type of truck with some of the same kind of sounds.
When the engine is under load it sounds like lifters,or worse yet, wrist pins. Levelling out the accelerator gets rid of the noise. It sounds bad. I have had it to the…

I am a living historian interpreting the Frontier Army of the 1880s.
I also enjoy shooting the service rifles of that period using the period targets, and shooting positions.
Previously a finish carpenter.
Current modifications to your Tundra:
New set of Big-O Big Foot AT.
Stock air filter replaced with K&N filter.
Pinstriping with a tiny Toyota logo above front fender badges, done at North Park Toyota, Boerne Tx.
Planned future mods:
Either a nice headache rack, or A.R.E. shell.
But otherwise, leave it stock.
I would like to recommend the following to everyone:
Turtle wax ICE. This stuff really seems to stay on longer than any of the others I've tried. Still beads water after the 5 months since I put it on.
