VSC apparently fixed

I had several issues at the same time. The Dealer worked on the truck. Replaced a bad left, rear axle bearing. Apparently the ABS and VSC sensors are IN the bearing! I have about 1500 miles on the truck since repair and it seems to be like new. Noises gone and VSC has not been an issue since.

Yes I do! I live in British Columbia and I get the same problem . The traction controle kicks in going around some of the sharp corners. It really sucks.

UPDATE: Dealer went to work on the list of vibration and noises I was complaining about (and the VSC activation). The short story is they replaced the left rear axle bearing (TSB 0151-10, 11 June) and the truck is behaving just like the day I bought…

What are the posted speed limits? It sounds like you're having body roll and the truck is doing what it thinks it should be.

VSC acting odd

07, 5.7 TRD, Tow, 4x4 with 45k and good running record...while driving curvey roads with elevation change the VSC has been activating (chimes and brake actuation) in right hand turns (dry pavement) at about 40 to 50mph. This has been happening with increasing frequency (twice yesterday.I shut of the VSC and LSD to finish the trip. Truck wouldn't shift past 4th, so I was running at 3500 rpm.Turn the VSC back on and it shifted normally thru all 6 and ran at 1400 rpm.Any thoughts?See More

Been fighting something similar since Nov 09. (07, TRD, 5.7, towing). 45-55mph is worst. seemed to start with 4x4 switch, but now it is constant. I have replaced drive shaft and center carrier bearing (there was a vibration under the back floor that…

ES Motteram replied to Jeffery Cole's discussion 'Thump when accelerating'
There is a TSB called Thump/Clunk that deals with a similar scenario you may want your dealer to look up. It involves a quick (< 1 hour) replacement of the center drive shaft carrier bearing in 2007-2010 Tundra. I don't have it with me for…
