It is a pain in the butt the first 1-2 times since you have to take off I think 8 bolts and 2 front curved metal clips holding the entire skid plate on. Don't worry, when you are underneath the skid plate and the plate comes down on you, it is…

Danny replied to LUCKY's discussion 'does anyone feel a vibration in the steering wheel while driving 08 cm trd?'
I have had intermittent steering vibration at about 70mph. I do have the factory 20 wheels. As a former tech I do know that it is tough to balance such a large wheel. So I am not too worried about it.

I plan on using Mobil 1 5w-20. I ran mobil 1 in my 1995 camry which I traded in with 200k miles on with no engine problems whatsoever, not even 1 oil leak, yes it is true! As of right now, I am planning on having it done at the dealer where i used…

4K should be long enough to start using synthetic. I, for one, do not use synthetic simply because of the cost involved in using 7 quarts of synthetic oil at 8.95 or so a quart of Amsoil fully synthetic oil. Most reports I have read rate Amsoil…

I ran Synth from the first oil change on. As long as you give the truck a chance to set the seals and rings, you are good 4k is long enough. what type of synth are you going to use AND are you planning to change your oil yourself?

Ist Oil Change

Hello everyone. I have about 3500 miles 0n my '08 DC, and I am planning the first oil change at 4K miles. I am planning on using synthetic oil going forward. I myself believe that there shouldn't be an issue using synthetic at the first oil change, as rings and seals will mesh as good if not better than conventional oil. On the other hand, I hear some people saying that I should wait longer to 2nd or 3rd oil change. Does anyone have any suggestions or straightforward facts on this issue?ThanksSee More

Holes in Bed?

Hello Everyone,Just wanted to know about something. I just had my bed line-x'd the other day,and I noticed that the bed has 4 holes in each corner about the size of a nickel. The holes are located on the "wall" of the bed. These are not rot holes, but are from the stamping process. I was wondering if these holes are supposed to be covered with a rubber grommet.I am concerned that water might get trapped in the bed. My truck had a bedliner which I removed, thus, these holes were covered. Does…See More
