I am impressed with the technology used in Toyota Prius. I am looking to buy one. I live in hilly terrains, where my current car with 115 HP is struggling to pick up sometimes.
1) Would Prius with 65 hp be a good idea to buy for me?
2) Would the gas mileage be the same in these conditions?
Please answer my questions. I would greatly appreciate it.

go to a prius site.. Unless you are in a tundra that is parked on top of the prius i have no suggestions..
You live in the hills . BUY A TUNDRA TRUCK !!!!!!!!!!
LMAO exactly what I thought initially reading it but from what I've heard they are very good on gas and don't seem to be underpowered even though they're ugly as all hell. Enough people in California seem to be driving them on a daily basis so I don't think the hills will be an issue at all.
My father has a Prius and lives in Lake Arrowhead, CA. It has no problem driving up and down the hill (4000 feet elevation change in 16 miles). I have driven it and it is a nice car. Many people drive them up here in the mountains. He averages about 47 MPG up here.
Dollar for dollar the Prius is a waste of money relative to some other cars. The Yaris will save you more money. Nearly as good of gas mileage and it cost much less. You would have to drive the Prius 300K or 400K miles to make up the savings. BUT the Prius is a status symbol and it is very high in the whiz bang factor area. SO if you want to look cool, and i use that term VERY loosely, get a Prius.
My personal choice: I want a Prius painted some horrid color with nerdy stickers all over it. I am a Nerd and that would be the ultimate nerd mobile to show up in.
Yes, It is a green status symbol. Never in my life would I have thought being a tree hugger would entail driving a specific car to prove you lost you freaking mind.
Yeah I hear ya....I live in the land of the tree huggers and organic this and that.....definitely different coming from land of beef and space. I make up for Tundra carbon footprint with the motorcycle....blah to status symbols.
My sister-in-law has one. We live at 6500-8000 elevation in Colorado. Lots of hills and she loves it. Gets about 38-42mpg. They are also very safe cars. I am on a fire department and have saw one get t-boned by a f-350 @ 60mph driver walked away with a broken arm that was it.
My neighbor has one and although I would not be caught dead in one (butt ugly), they do get almost 50 mpg avg mpg. I say for the price of about 23K new, you can get a new toyota corolla that is roomier and better ride with bigger engine, etc. for $16,500 out the door and still get 37 to 38 mpg like I do with my 2009 corolla LE. You have to remember, not too many priuses have over 80 to 100K on them yet and if the batteries die around then which they probably will, it will cost you almost the price of a new motor - so be very careful on buying a used one with over 60-70K mileage. Save 7K and get a corolla which is roomier, peppier, not as butt ugly, and offers a better ride. You still are going green and saving yourself 7K in the process. Even spend about another 800 bucks and get the sportier 09' or 2010 Corolla S model that gets you the sportier looking ground effects and a little different interior and look cool driving it around.
